Transparency and quality

In the following, we would like to tell you more about our values and approaches. Through the direct contact in the project region, we can ensure that every donation is invested in a meaningful way in the projects. In annual reports, newseletters and personal contact with our donors, we report regularly what has been accomplish through your donation.

The donations go to 100 percent in the projects. The Mikana e.V. board, project team and the committee in Zimbabwe work benevolant. No salaries, expendutures for renting or administration are being paid for the management of the projects. All costs that arise in Germany e.g. for fundraising, are paid through the membership fees. Solely the transfer fees to send the donation to Zimbabwe are paid from the Mikana organisations' bank account.

We strive for a sustainable development and wish to support people in creating opportunities and using them. Hence, we integrate the local community and institutions in all decision-making. Through our projects, we wish to contribute to a more independent and hopeful future. Therefore, we do not bear continuous costs.
